Knock Down Ginger involves ringing somebody's doorbell then running away and hiding before the person can answer the door. It is usually only played by naughty children with no respect for their elders.

In the episode Knock Down Ginger, Ginger Pie and Mad Milo played this game over and over again on poor old Mr. Thrips in an attempt to run him out of town, but their plan failed, and Ginger was eaten up by Mr. Thrips’ hungry termites.
