When the Chipper Chums cycled too fast for Alice, they worried that she was scared of being left behind, but Alice told them that it was Teddy that was scared.
Later, when the Chums were trying to find an adventure, Ginger made little Alice cry when he suggested that they rip out Teddy's eye to get a hook to go fishing with.
