A skiver who would do anything to get to stay home from school, Lorelei’s parents eventually called on a doctor who prescribed Medicus Moribundus to cure the girl of her ailments. This turned out to be another doctor, one with an extremely unconventional means of treating what he diagnosed as No-School-itis, but after the procedure, Lorelei was like a different person, and never tried to stay home from school again . . .

- Some of the things Lorelei did to make her parents think that she was ill included: soaking herself in a bath for so long that she could claim to have leprosy; drinking hot tea to raise her temperature as if she had a fever; dipped her feet in iced water to bring on a cold; binge on sweets and other sugary treats to bring herself out in spots and lumps. Her worst one ever though, was putting toothpaste foam around her mouth and insisting that she had rabies.
- What kind of brain surgery Dr. Moribundus actually performed on Lorelei is unknown, but it was described as being like eating a soft-boiled egg.
- Lorelei looks similar to Gwendoline from crocodile tears.
